To all our Live & Learn friends,

Despite these challenging times we are all facing, the Live & Learn Network remains active in continuing our work. Through our localised network we are operating as normal to the best of our abilities, and and have integrated COVID-19 response into our programs.

Live & Learn has a strong history of implementing water, sanitation and hygiene projects and we will continue to promote positive practices now more than ever. We are supporting national health efforts in partner countries, building local office capacity and spreading accurate awareness materials.

We are doing our part to stop the spread of the virus, and you can too by washing your hands regularly with soap and water, keeping a safe distance from others and staying home if you feel unwell.

Prevention is a communal effort. Stay safe, stay calm and stay engaged.

Live & Learn works with communities throughout Asia and the Pacific to encourage individual and community attitudes, values and actions that are ethical and sustainable.

Our priority is to support communities in sustaining their environments by improving practice. Most of our time and resources are spent with people in their community inspiring action and change.

Everyone is a stakeholder in environmental education. All of us will feel the impact of its relative success or failure and all of us affect the impact of it by our behaviour. We fund our projects with support from the public, governments, the corporate sector and international development agencies.

In the Pacific, Live & Learn was first established in 1992. In Fiji, Live & Learn registered under the provision of Charitable Trust Act Fiji in 1999. Live & Learn Fiji is an affiliated member of the Live & Learn Pacific and Asia network of nationally registered country offices that is locally managed and staffed. Live & Learn Fiji currently has a total of 96 staff of which 45 are males and 51 are females.

The organization was founded on the principles and recognition that educators play a vital role in development of a sustainable environment by considering environmental education as an underlying principle in changing people's attitude and behavior. Live & Learn works with communities in Fiji to encourage individual and community attitudes, values and actions that are ethical and sustainable. Our priority is to support Fijian communities in sustaining their environments by improving practice.
