Live & Learn Environmental Education (Live & Learn) is seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator – Climate Resilient Islands Program (Phase 3) to be based in Labasa, Fiji.

Live & Learn is a local non-government organisation aiming to reduce poverty and foster greater understanding and action towards a sustainable future through education, community mobilisation and supportive partnerships.

Project Coordinator – Climate Resilient Islands Program (Phase 3)
The successful candidate will lead the implementation of the Climate Resilient Islands (CRI 3) Project in Fiji, a New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade (MFAT) funded initiative that supports vulnerable communities through nature-based solutions, ecosystem restoration and community resilience.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within donor-funded development programmes, with proven experience in coordinating project implementation, work planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting. Experience working with communities, government agencies, development partners and other stakeholders is essential. Applicants should have sound knowledge of climate change adaptation, environmental management, sustainable development and community development. Experience in facilitating workshops, developing training resources, leading project teams and managing project budgets will be highly regarded.

The potential candidate must possess a tertiary qualification in Project Management, Environmental Science, Climate Change, Tropical Agriculture, Community Development, or another relevant discipline.
