The Project was aimed at reducing the morbidity and mortality related to cabie infection in Fiji. This was achieved by working closely with the Fiji Ministry of Health & Medical Service at the national and sub national levels. The Project:
- Developed scabies surveillance in Fiji
- Upskilled the staff capacity with the Civil sector and the Ministry of Health to deliver mass drug administration for scabies
- Advocacy and awareness campaigns
- Hand over of a sustainable project for scabies to the Ministry of Health
