The Project was aimed at reducing the morbidity and mortality related to cabie infection in Fiji. This was achieved by working closely with the Fiji Ministry of Health & Medical Service at the national and sub national levels. The Project:

  • Developed scabies surveillance in Fiji
  • Upskilled the staff capacity with the Civil sector and the Ministry of Health to deliver mass drug administration for scabies
  • Advocacy and awareness campaigns
  • Hand over of a sustainable project for scabies to the Ministry of Health
