Formerly known as the Eliminate Dengue Program, the Project worked closely with community groups in the Pacific to reduce the threat of mosquito borne diseases.

The Project goal is to reduce the transmission of dengue, Zika, and chikungunya viruses by introducing the naturally occurring Wolbachia bacteria into local Aedes aegypti mosquito populations.
