The Project named “Optimizing the PCV schedule in Fiji for immunization policy decision-making: a mathematical modelling and cost-effectiveness analysis study” was a study which involved mathematical modelling and cost-effectiveness analysis to transition to a 1+1 Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) schedule

The project is an observational study which will develop and validate a mathematical model to predict the impact of switching from the existing 3+0 pneumococcal conjugate vaccine schedule to a 1+1 schedule on (1) pneumococcal carriage and disease and (2) cost-effectiveness in Fiji over 10 years.
