Tropical Cyclone Harold impacted the south of Fiji as a Category 4 on 8 April, hitting Viti Levu and the islands to the east as a Category 4 cyclone on April 8. Widespread flooding followed and 575 houses were destroyed and 1,919 damaged. Damage to crops was estimated at approximately AUD 20 million.

The objective of the Project was to support the immediate needs of individual affected by TC Harold and who were also at risk to COVID-19. It was focused on provision of awareness material, distribution of non-food item, repairs to communal and household infrastructure as well as agriculture and livelihood training.
