The Project which was funded by the New Zealand Government was implemented in two phases.

Phase 1 was ensuring the immediate distribution of food rations to COVID-19 affected communities with particular focus on households with women and girls, the elderly persons with disabilities and persons of diverse SOGIESC.

Phase 2 was working closely with selected communities in the Central division where food rations, hygiene kits and PPE were distributed.

As part of the Project, Live & Learn fiji were able to hand out much needed assistance to communities and families in need, namely:

  • Food Packs – 3, 783;
  • Hygiene Kits – 2, 783;
  • WASH Kits – 1, 966;
  • Dignity & Protection packs – 256
